    6 Months of Paradise

It’s already been 6 months since we’ve moved to Hawaii.  We’ve been loving it and feel so blessed to live in paradise.  No, we don’t go to the beach every day, not even every week, but when we do it makes it so much more of a blessing to call this our home now. Here’s a recap of what’s been going on while we’ve been livin’ da island life so far   Went for a run and this was my view of Ko’Olina and the Waianae Coast Lunch at Giovanni’s Shrimp Truck   Cheering on our team in the playoffs! Go Niners! Little girl’s 1st haircut.   Watching fireworks with friends after the Honolulu Parade Chillin at our favorite beach. Where? Ko’Olina, of course! How Ryan rolls on his way to school. Ryan’s class field trip to the Honolulu Zoo. With friends Ryder and Kealohilani. Another quick trip to the North Shore and more Giovanni’s shrimp plate.  Who said there’s no snow in da islands? Haleiwa with Grandma Jesse and Papa Jun.   Our reminder of home in the Bay…the Golden Gate Bridge.   Hibiscus, or “hibiscuits” as Ryan says, as big as your face growing in our garden.      […]

    Da East Side

Aloha Friday! Today we went to da windward side of da island and bought all kinda of trees and plants for our landscaping. We purchased mostly everything except for our sago palms. We only found one place that sells them but they were closed. Besides, it wouldn’t have fit anyways because the pak lan and banana trees took up most of the room.

  • Mission…

    Mission…

..just about completed. Hung out with my sister today. We went to Peju winery in the Napa Valley and picked up some wine the wife wanted. I didn’t pick up any macaroons though.  Lunch we went to Fairfield and ate at Chic-Fil-A. I wasn’t planning on eating there but it worked out great! My last thing to complete my mission is Krispy Kreme. I have to pick that up before I head to the airport tomorrow.
