It’s already been 6 months since we’ve moved to Hawaii. We’ve been loving it and feel so blessed to live in paradise. No, we don’t go to the beach every day, not even every week, but when we do it makes it so much more of a blessing to call this our home now.
Here’s a recap of what’s been going on while we’ve been livin’ da island life so far
Went for a run and this was my view of Ko’Olina and the Waianae Coast
Lunch at Giovanni’s Shrimp Truck
Cheering on our team in the playoffs! Go Niners!
Little girl’s 1st haircut.
Watching fireworks with friends after the Honolulu Parade
Chillin at our favorite beach. Where? Ko’Olina, of course!
How Ryan rolls on his way to school.
Ryan’s class field trip to the Honolulu Zoo. With friends Ryder and Kealohilani.
Another quick trip to the North Shore and more Giovanni’s shrimp plate. Who said there’s no snow in da islands?
Haleiwa with Grandma Jesse and Papa Jun.
Our reminder of home in the Bay…the Golden Gate Bridge.
Hibiscus, or “hibiscuits” as Ryan says, as big as your face growing in our garden.
Little did we know this was the last time we’d see the penguins at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. They moved to Maryland, of all places.
Easter fun.
Daddy’s birthday
Funny looking kids!
Spam Festival. Spam fried rice. Spam musubi. Spam topped ice cream. Spam dim sum. We were spammed out.
Trip to the Aloha Stadium swap meet.
Last day of Kindergarten for Ryan. Silly Jasmine decided she wanted a pic with a book too.
50th State Fair
North Shore and another shrimp truck!
Because it’s too hot, no need for pants!
Hanauma Bay and snorkeling!
Movie in the park under the Hawaiian sky.
“Staycation” at the Hilton Hawaiian Village last weekend to celebrate Jasmine’s early 4th birthday. Watched fireworks, celebrated Jasmine and Kayson’s 4th birthdays, kids rode water slides for the 1st time by themselves…had so much fun!
My favorite pic of the kids. Enjoying the beauty of Hawaii.
